I’ve ranted and raved about these two elsewhere on the blog. I can go on, but suffice it to say that they’re two of my favs and they graced me with their love’s expression for a Follow and Shoot class I conducted earlier this year.
A year ago I went to scout out Iceland with Jackie. We visited the southern part, and drove the graveled roads of the highlands otherwise known as the F-roads. Our experiences there were awe inspiring to say the least.
So I haven’t blogged in a looonngg time. I’m guessing it’s about time I catch up before I get into the thick of the new season. For me, uploading the photos is easy enough, but all of the other stuff that goes into trying to do it right makes me keep “blog” on my to-do list forever.
My wife said that few people get the opportunity to have their love documented, and she stated that I provide a family heirloom to be passed down through generations. I'm not sure if it's too high minded but I agree with the sentiments. If I can capture something true, then when years pass and these images are revisited, then a true memory of love is conjured.
