An Indian-Pakistani Wedding at The Bellevue Conference & Event Center by Virginia Wedding Photographer Josef Sullivan
Special shoutout to Lindsey for tapping me to be her second shooter for this wedding in Centreville, Virginia. It was the first time I ever second shot for anyone, and I have to say that the venue and the couple, Mariam and Mazin, were just beautiful. Lindsey does great work. We're friends and she's someone that I definitely recommend if I'm already booked for an inquired about date, or if I'm just not the right fit for a potential client. Some potential clients want for their photographer to be more hands-on and provide more instruction, and Lindsey is definitely better than me at that. Feel free to check her work: https://lindseyparadiso.com
I, on the other hand, am definitely more hands-off. I like to capture moments as they occur. Those moments can be beautiful, chaotic, romantic, pensive, comedic, etc. I have previously received several inquiries for Indian weddings, where the inquirer loved my work and approach but was concerned about their parents and family who were more traditional in how they wanted their photos taken. I have an answer for that lol... you can contact me for more info! But here I didn't have to worry about any of that since I wasn't the primary photographer. I could pretty much do my thing as I normally would. Yay me!
Here are a few images I took from the day's event. Feel free to let me know what you think!
