Real. Love. A Frederick, Maryland Wedding by Josef Sullivan.

It shouldn't be so hard to be kind and to be gentle. To make your neighbor feel welcome. To make someone feel comfortable. To make someone feel love and appreciated. Perhaps we are not trying to make it hard on purpose. Maybe it's not that we are trying to be mean or have a sour face or a stern face that may turn people off. Maybe we just have a hard time letting our light shine. Maybe it's hard for us, and maybe it's awkward. But these two, Alan and Thai, knew how to make me fall in love with them as people. They have sparked something in me. I call them friends. They have something that is rare, precious, and valuable. In just the small amount of time that we have known each other, I have quickly grown to cherish whatever jewel it is that radiates from within them.
So I'm not afraid to say hey, Thai and Alan, I love you guys. You have had a positive influence on me in the short time we've known each other, and I thank you! May God bless you both abundantly, and I hope that these images stoke your joy and love for many, many years to come!
Feel free to check out Thai and Alan's engagement session!
