We’re Whole As One by Josef Sullivan
Documentary Wedding Photography
I’m still waiting for one of those weddings where rain is eminent and everyone doesn’t run inside because they have those see-through, futuristic umbrellas that come down as a dome over the shoulders. But then again, maybe I should be happy since I wouldn’t have an umbrella while I’m photographing the ceremony, and I don’t bring extra sets of clothing. But then again – again, as I think this through as I write – I could just bring an extra set of clothes, so I’m back to waiting for such a wedding.
Sometimes, inwardly I do the Homer Simpson “doh” when the outside grounds of a venue is beautiful, but people, understandably, have to go indoors for a ceremony. Jonar and Marie bravely decided to keep the ceremony outdoors despite the brooding clouds hovering above Potomac Shores Golf Club. Thankfully, the rain held up and no one was drenched. We later walked out on the course and I documented some of the magic that makes them them.
Feel free to also take a look at their engagement session.
